Who we are
JNB Enterprises started as a CO-OP of our three individual companies: BK Hammer Construction, Arete Builders, and Elevated Improvements. We quickly realized how well we worked together and how our job sites became a place we truly enjoyed together. After nearly two years of working together, we’ve decided to make it official! Presenting JNB Enterprises!! With over 50 combined years in the building and remodeling industry, we are here to bring your home dreams to life. Specializing in everything from new construction to remodels and project management, we can take you through every step of your project to make your home or space exactly what you envision. While we offer most of our services in-house, we also have a stellar lineup of licensed and insured subcontractors to provide services outside our scope of work, including electricians, plumbers, and concrete. Our goal is always to deliver the highest quality product paired with excellent customer service, communication, and integrity. We look forward to helping you build your next project!
Our Team
Noah Furman - Managing Partner
Noah grew up in New York and started in the industry doing custom copper roofing and fabrication. He first moved to Taos in 2017 and then moved to the valley in 2021. Along with honing his skills in the building trades and expanding into many more facets of the industry, he also added raft guiding to his resume during his time in Taos and here in Buena Vista.
Though the days of full-time raft guiding are now over, Noah and his fiancée, Erika, still enjoy getting out on our local rivers and venturing far and wide, including Ecuador, to get on the river as much as they can. Noah also enjoys playing hockey on a locally sponsored team in Breckenridge, sponsored and named after the newly opened Central Colorado Welding School! He spends summer days on the golf course or hanging with his dog and friends.
Brett Knowles - Managing Partner
Brett is the salty dog on the team and began his entrepreneurship in Windsor, CO, in 1997. The one who makes sure everything gets done to perfection efficiently and with the highest level of superior custom quality every time. Originally from Nevada, Brett went to college in Durango and stayed and raised his family in Colorado. After owning his own company all over the Front Range and eastern Colorado, he eventually found himself in Buena Vista in 2002 to raise his two daughters, Rilee and Kristin. He has continued providing excellent services in our valley ever since.
When he’s not spending time with his daughters, you can often find Brett riding his dirt bike around 4 mile or at the golf course in the summer. In the winter, Brett takes care of some of our local snow removal, including City Market and a local church, as well as his neighborhood. If the snow isn’t flying, he’s tinkering with his cars, including his 67’ Charger, which we can’t wait to see!
Jason Brooks - Managing Partner
Jason spent five years in the US Marine Corps, where he served as a master helicopter mechanic and Aerial Gunner during the Iraq War. After the Marines, Jason attended undergraduate and graduate school at the University of Texas at Austin and The LBJ School of Public Affairs.
After graduate school, Jason worked as a Presidential Management Fellow before moving to the private sector, where he worked for three years in software product management for SunPower Corporation. Disenchanted with the traditional American dream of the 1990s, Jason left the corporate world in 2017 to help his wife, Mallory, run their family trail racing business, Spectrum Trail Racing.
Jason and Mallory started renovating their Austin, TX home in 2017, and Jason has been honing his carpentry and home remodeling craft ever since.
Jason now lives in Buena Vista, CO with Mallory and their son, Paxton. When he isn’t renovating or building homes, Jason is an avid runner and outdoor enthusiast who serves as a high school cross country coach, a middle school boys basketball coach, and volunteers for Chaffee County Search and Rescue North.
